San Antonio Attractions

The Alamo


On the east side of the city, on Alamo Plaza, is the most renowned building in Texas: the Alamo. The great River Walk runs for many miles throughout the city center over the San Antonio River previous numerous eateries, stores, and hotels. Consisting of four of the 5 Spanish mission stations founded between 1718 along with 1740, the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park is vital visit. To the west of the San Antonio River along with within easy reach of historical San Fernando Cathedral is the Military Plaza, home to the Spanish Governor's Palace. Well-Known as the burial site of the heroes of the Alamo, the Ancient Rome Catholic San Fernando Cathedral is among the oldest cathedrals in the Usa and is recorded on the National register of Historic Places. Opened in 1980, the San Antonio Botanical Garden includes an extensive selection of quiet areas with independently constructed gardens. Highlights include a kid's garden, a conservatory, a garden for the blind, a butterfly garden, as well as a rose garden, along with a wide variety of other displays and fun events. Another famous wet park is Splashtown San Antonio, offering more than 50 rides and attractions, and a number of thrilling waterslides. Lastly, although a 16 mile trip northwest of San Antonio, a visit to SeaWorld will keep old and young alike entertained for hours. Along with its many shows, attractions, and displays are killer whales, a botanical garden, along with a large white race.

AT & T Center

AT & T Center is one of the most sought after entertainments venues in South Texas. Opened in 2002, it is the home to the San Antonio Spurs (NBA), San Antonio Rampage (AHL), San Antonio Stars (WNBA) and the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. The venue hosts thousands of events across multiple categories such as sports, concerts, shows etc. to name a few.
